Things learned from changing a lightbulb

Ok, well, only one really. I was up on a chair, changing the lightbulb in the living room when something caught my eye out the window. It turns out that when there aren't any leaves on the trees, I can see the top of the Washington Monument from my apartment. Cool!
And, weird. I mean, those red eyes are ominous. Like big brother watching out over the whole city. But, cool nonetheless!

Addendum: It turns out that we can also see the Capitol from our apartment. Snazzy.
